STANFORD, Calif. - Head coach Tara VanDerveer and selected members of the Stanford women's basketball team will be appearing at a press conference on Wednesday, March 31 at 10 a.m., and Cardinal fans can see it all on CBS College Sports All-Access.

The press conference, previewing Stanford's ninth trip to the Final Four this weekend in San Antonio, will begin with student-athletes Jayne Appel, Rosalyn Gold-Onwude and Kayla Pedersen answering questions from 10-10:30 a.m., while VanDerveer will meet the media from approximately 10:30-11 a.m.

Junior guard Jeanette Pohlen, who hit the game-winning shot as time expired that punched Stanford's Final Four ticket in the team's 55-53 Sacramento Regional Final victory over Xavier Monday night, and Nnemkadi Ogwumike, who posted a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds in the win, will be unable to attend the press conference due to academic commitments.

Stanford (35-1) earned the ninth Final Four trip in program history Monday night, and will travel to San Antonio Thursday, April 1. The Cardinal will open up national semifinal action Sunday, April 4, against the Oklahoma Sooners, the Kansas City Region champions, at the Alamodome. Sunday's game is set for a 4 p.m. start and will be shown live on ESPN and online on ESPN360.

VanDerveer, in her 24th season at the Stanford helm and 31st overall, owns a career record of 792-194 entering this weekend's Final Four. She has now led Stanford to eight Final Four appearances, including three in a row after Monday's victory in Sacramento.
