STANFORD, Calif.-- Stanford second baseman Lonnie Kauppila is coming off a national-caliber week, going 15-for-20 against Saint Mary's and at Washington State to earn Collegiate Baseball's National Player of the Week honors.
The Southern California native, along with the rest of the Cardinal (14-7, 2-1 Pac-10) head to USC this weekend to take on the Trojans for a three-game series. Gostanford.com caught up with the Stanford freshman.
