Kentucky head coach Dennis Emery:
"I felt like this was one of our best matches of the year. The core of our team is at No. 4 and No. 5, and that was the best match those two have played all year together. Tom Jomby has been kind of up and down for us, but when he's playing his game he is very tough to beat. He overpowers people and has one of the biggest serves in college tennis. I also thought the doubles was a huge key to the match. Florida is so tough in singles that it's hard to overcome losing the doubles against them."
Florida head coach Andy Jackson:
"I thought we fought very hard and got beat by a team that played better than us and we knew very well. We have played three extremely close matches with them, and they got the one today which is a huge prize. We feel like we lost to a worthy opponent. I am proud of my team and even though it's sad to see the season end, I feel like we did accomplish a lot."
