STANFORD, Calif. - Five Stanford women's basketball players were honored on the Pac-12 All-Academic List, the conference announced Thursday.
Sophomore Chiney Ogwumike, a CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 selection, was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team, while the quartet of redshirt junior Sarah Boothe, seniors Lindy La Rocque and Nnemkadi Ogwumike, and sophomore Toni Kokenis all earned honorable mention.
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
For La Rocque it was her third honorable mention, while Boothe and Nneka each earned their second. Chiney was named to one of the two teams for the first time in her career and Kokenis earned her first honorable mention nod.
