STANFORD, Calif.-The Stanford women's gymnastics team garnered seven Pacific-12 All-Academic honors, as announced by the conference Wednesday.

Shona Morgan earned her second consecutive first-team award, holding a 3.77 cumulative grade-point average as a human biology major.

Amanda Spinner was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic second team for the first time in her collegiate career.

Stanford also claimed five honorable mention honors, including: Nicole Dayton, Pauline Hanset, Ashley Morgan, Samantha Shapiro and Kristina Vaculik.

To be eligible for the award, the student-athlete must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher, participate in at least 50 percent of the scheduled contests in the sport and have a minimum of one year in residence at the institution.

Stanford will compete at the NCAA Championships in Los Angeles on April 19-21.
