COVERING THE NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS

WORKING PRESS ROOM is available to all media covering the NCAA Tennis Championships. Media may use the media room located beneath the main grandstand of Taube Tennis Stadium in the Fluegel Room. Electrical outlets, press materials and up-to-date results will be provided in this area.

WORKING PRESS AREA is located on the top deck at the top of the grandstand next to the tennis offices. This may be used by working media while covering the tournament action. Post-tournament work and filing each day can be done from the press room.

DAILY MATCHUP SHEET will be provided to all media
showing probable lineups for each team during the team tournaments.

BRACKETS and RESULTS from each team tournament match and individual competition will be available at all times at the working press room and will be duplicated during the day and at day's end for distribution to the media. Results will be available in both draw-sheet and agate form.

INTERVIEW REQUESTS should be made through the Stanford Media Relations staff. Coaches and players will be escorted to the interview room located in the working press room. The head coach and at least one player from the winning and losing teams will be brought to the interview area following each match in the team tournament. During the singles and doubles tournaments, requested players and coaches will also be escorted to the interview area.

AN INTERVIEW POLICY will be in effect for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Tournaments. A 10-minute cooling-off period will be observed by all media and players in all quarterfinal, semifinal and final matches in the individual singles and doubles tournaments. Players in these matches will have 10 minutes following their match before being escorted to the interview area to meet the media. We ask that all media observe this regulation during this latter portion of the tournament. If you need assistance with any other interviews during the tournament, please contact Jessica Raber or Gary Migdol.
