As a Junior in 1999 - Played his biggest role yet with the Cardinal with a .234 batting average, one homer and 15 RBI in career-highs of 34 games played and seven starts...Had a key pinch-hit three-run double in the eighth inning that led the Cardinal to a come-from-behind 8-4 win at Arizona on March 26...Blasted his first collegiate home run, a three-run shot, in 13-5 win at California on April 24...Put together a career-high four-game hitting streak from March 6-27.
As a Sophomore in 1998 - Appeared in nine games as a backup first baseman and pinch-hitter, all off the bench, and went 1-for-11 (.091) with a run scored...Singled and scored in 13-2 victory over Saint Mary's on March 3...Member of 25-man postseason roster but did not see any action.
As a Freshman in 1997 - Appeared in two games and went 1-for-1 with three RBI...Had a two-RBI single in 12-4 win at UC Davis on February 18...Had game-winning sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 12th inning of 8-7 triumph over San Francisco on March 4.
