Tallied seven points in 15 minutes of play against Oregon (2/10/00) ... Turned in seven points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal against California (2/19/00) ... Played double digits in minutes in 21 games (including ten of the last eleven games), including a season-high 23 minutes against California (2/19/00).
1998-99 Season (Freshman): Added valuable depth to the point-guard position ... Played in 23 games ... With the sprained foot injury to Michael McDonald earlier in the season, Tony moved in as the backup point-guard to Arthur Lee ... Played 16 or more minutes in five games ... Played 17 minutes against Santa Clara (12/22/98), and chalked up a season-high eleven points (4-for-6 from the floor), five assists, three rebounds and a steal ... Played 17 minutes, scored seven points, grabbed four rebounds, collected three steals and two assists against Southwest Missouri State (11/20/98) ... Played 18 minutes against SMU (11/18/98), and collected four points, two rebounds and two assists ... Collected 17 minutes of playing time against Nevada (12/17/98), dished out three assists and grabbed two rebounds ... Hit a key three-pointer to tie the game at 47-47 midway through the second half at Pacific (12/19/98).
High School: The eighth major college point guard to graduate from Judge Memorial High School ... The first player in Judge Memorial history to lead the team in points (20.7 ppg), rebounds (8.3 rpg) and assists (7.5 apg) ... Scored a career-high 36 points against Wood Cross High School ... Dished out 13 assists in one game, and grabbed 12 rebounds in two games ... A three-year starter, gained first team all-state honors all three seasons, in addition to all-league honors ... Led his team to three state playoff appearances.
Cardinal Chronicle: Tony's uncle, Paul, played basketball at Stanford (1975-79) and his father, Marty, played at Washington State (1974-77) ... Paul was a starter during his senior season (1978-79) and dished out 90 assists.
