Bo McNally Named Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week

Sophomore Bo McNally (Salt Lake City, UT./Highlands HS) of the Stanford football team was selected as the Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 10-16.

Sophomore Bo McNally (Salt Lake City, UT./Highlands HS) of the Stanford football team was selected as the Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 3-9.

McNally, a sophomore from Salt Lake City, led the Cardinal defense with 11 total tackles. He also returned an interception 28 yards and was credited with three pass break ups and one tackle for loss. McNally helped the Cardinal defense record its first shutout in 11 years as it limited the Spartans to 32 net yards rushing, 131 yards through the air and just 163 yards in total offense.

McNally has posted 26 tackles in the first two games of the season and is currently leading the Pac-10 and ranked third in the nation in tackles per game (13.0).

This is McNally's first Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the 2007-08 season. McNally and the rest of the Stanford football team return to action Saturday, Sept. 22 vs.Oregonn at Stnaford Stadium.
