Nyerr Parham on the Stanford student-athlete: "Stanford is a great institution for a student-athlete. For one, the term student-athlete actually applies. We work extremely hard on and off the field, which prepares us well for life after college. Also, Stanford is different from other Universities in that it does not separate athletes from non-athletes. It allows the athletes to get to know people who do not play sports at Stanford and figure out what drives other students."
