| A 6-6 defensive lineman, Garin Veris was a tremendous pass rusher for Stanford from 1981-84. Veris led the team in tackles-for-loss in three seasons and and sacks all four years on The Farm. Tied for fourth on Stanford’s all-time list for sacks with 25 and fifth in tackles-for-loss (45), Veris was selected in the second round of the 1985 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. He played eight seasons in the NFL for the Patriots and San Francisco 49ers. | |||||||||||
