Another of Stanford’s two-time Olympians, Kurt Seiffert would go on to appear at the Olympic Games in 1956 and 1960, winning a gold medal in Melbourne. There, Seiffert teamed with Dan Ayrault and Conn Findlay to form the U.S. men’s pair with coxswain and race to the gold. Four years later, Seiffert would compete in his second Olympic Games as a member of the U.S. men’s four with coxswain at the 1960 Rome Games. Seiffert would also go on to be enshrined in the National Rowing Hall of Fame. | |||||||||||
