- Parents are Lynne and Andrew Young
- Brothers are Nico, a two-time NCAA champion and 2024 Olympian in the 10,000, and twin Leo, a Stanford teammate
- Lex and Leo have their own YouTube channel, "L&L", where they share their running careers and seek to inspire young runners
