Personal

• Parents are Lynne and Andrew Young
• Brothers are Nico, who runs for Northern Arizona and is among the nation's top collegiate distance runners, and twin Leo, a Stanford teammate
• Lex and Leo have their own YouTube channel, "L&L", where they share their running careers and seek to inspire young runners
• Volunteer coach for Camarillo Cosmos Youth Track
