Outdoors

• Advanced to the NCAA West Prelims in the 1,500, running a 4:23.54 to place 15th overall.
• Was 10th in the Pac-12 in the 1,500, in 4:28.03.
• Second in the Big Meet in the 800 (2:12.47) and fifth in the 1,500 (4:29.12).
• Ran season bests of 4:23.41 in the 1,500 (West Coast Last Chance meet in San Francisco), 2:12.27 in the 800 (Brutus Hamilton Invite in Berkeley), and a personal best of 16:34.93 in the 5,000 (Stanford Invitational).
• Named Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.

Indoors

• Ran a season best of 4:44.73 in the mile, placing third in the invitational race at the Penn State National on Feb. 1.
• Placed 20th in the mile at the MPSF Championships (4:56.68) and ran the first leg of the fifth-place distance medley relay.

2013 Season:
Outdoors 

• Did not compete.

Indoors

• Placed ninth in the mile at the MPSF Championships, running a season best 4:50.53.
• Ran the second leg of the second-place distance medley relay team at MPSF's (11:22.17).
• Ran a season best 800 of 2:12.08 at the UW Invitational.
• Competed in five meets, running in the mile three times, the 800, 4x400, and DMR twice each, and the 4x800 once.

Cross Country:

• Ran No. 3 for Stanford at the 2013 NCAA Championships, placing 95th overall.
• Also ran as the team's No. 4 at the NCAA West Regional and No. 5 at Pac-12's.
• Ran in six meets in 2013 and three in 2012, including at the Pac-12 Championships.

International:

• Competed for the United States at the 2011 World Youth Championships in Lille, France, in the 1,500 meters.
• Placed fifth with a time of 4:17.12.

High School: 

• Won consecutive high school Dream Mile races at the New York Grand Prix, clocking a personal best 4:39.64 to win in 2012.
• That time ranked her at No. 38 on the 2012 U.S. performance list.
• Also won the 2011 Dream Mile in 4:42.71.
• The 2011 Nike Track Nationals mile champion.
• Captured the 2011 California state title in the 1,600, in 4:40.88.
• Won two state Division IV cross-country titles, in 2009 and 2010, and was second in 2011.
• Won 2012 CIF Southern Section Masters (4:43.90) and Division III (4:48.77) championships.
• A four-time Mission League champion in cross country.
• Owns the Harvard-Westlake record in the 1,500 (4:17), 1,600 (4:40), mile (4:39), two mile (10:19) and a part of the 4x400-meter relay (3:44).
• Teamed with future Stanford teammate Amy Weissenbach to set the distance medley relay national high school record in 2011.
• Also won the sprint medley relay national title in 2011.
• Helped Harvard-Westlake to the 2009 Division IV state title in cross country .
• Won three Mission League titles in track.
• A part of the 2011 CIF Division III Section title team.
• Also played soccer and helped Harvard-Westlake to the CIF title.

Personal:

• Major is science, technology, and society with a concentration on IT, media, and society.
• Daughter of Jean-Marc and Victoria Chapus.
• Father ran the 200 and 400 at Harvard University.
• Mother, the former Vickie Cook, won three California state high school 3,200 titles and ran at UCLA .
• Has five younger siblings, Carli, Claire, Nico, Christian and Elodie.
