Xanthe Travlos joins the Cardinal staff for the 2011 campaign as a student assistant coach.
Travlos completed her collegiate career in 2010, totaling 40 goals, 19 assists, 99 points and 245 shot attempts in 81 games over four years. One of the most highly-decorated players in program history, Travlos earned the first of two Longstreth/NFHCA All-America honors as a junior, becoming the 13th player in school history to earn the national honor and first since 1998.
Recently awarded a NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship, Travlos was also a four-time Longstreth/NFHCA All-West Region pick, earning first team accolades as a freshman, junior and senior while while garnering second team recognition as a sophomore.
A four-time first team all-conference selection, Travlos was also named the NorPac Player of the Year as a junior and senior. A native of Staffordshire, England, Travlos guided Stanford to three NCAA Tournament appearances and four NorPac Tournament championships during her tenure.
Travlos also possesses a wealth of international experience, most recently representing England's U21 team at the 2008 EuroHockey Junior Nations Championships. Travlos played for the England U18 National Team for two seasons, leading her teams to two gold medals in the 4 Nations Tournament.
