• Played for coach Tim Morris at Melrose High School
• Lettered in football, track & field and wrestling
• Ranked as the No. 11 player in the state of Massachusetts by 247Sports
• Named all-state, all-conference and all-league in football
• Totaled 76 tackles, 12.5 sacks, 32 tackles for loss, 15 QB hits, 11 pass breakups, three blocked field goals and 97 pancakes
• Led team two straight seasons in sacks, tackles for loss, pancakes and also pass breakups as a senior
• Named captain senior season
• Qualified for the state championship in the shot put
• State champion in wrestling; seeded eighth at National Heavyweights
• Three-year honor roll member
• Football All-Academic team
