Prior to Stanford

• Played at San Clemente High School in San Clemente, Calif. for head coach Jaime Ortiz
• The No. 1 defensive lineman recruit in California by ESPN, a consensus top-150 defensive lineman recruit in the nation
• Also competed in Baseball and Shot Put
• A two-way starter, playing both defensive and offensive line for the 2023 South Coast League Championship San Clemente Triton team
• Football captain in his senior season
• In 24 high school games, totaled 38 solo tackles, 79 total tackles, two tackles-for-loss and four and a half sacks alongside three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries
• Three-time San Clemente Scholar Athlete
• Two-time First Team All-South Coast League (2022, 2023)
• 2023 U.S. Army Bowl All-American
• North/South All Star
