Prior to Stanford
- Spent five seasons at California, appearing in 42 games at linebacker and on special teams
- Compiled 65 tackles, including four tackles-for-loss, and a pair of sacks
- Best season came during the 2024 season, where he posted career-highs in tackles (38), tackles-for-loss (4), and sacks (2)...also forced two fumbles and defended two passes…both of his sacks came against Wake Forest, as did one of his forced fumbles (Nov. 8)...tied a career-high in tackles with seven during the 127th Big Game vs. Stanford

- Finished his high school career with 160 total tackles, nine tackles-for-loss, and four interceptions
- Also played wide receiver during his two varsity seasons and caught 28 passes for 334 yards and four touchdowns
- Helped lead Queen Creek to a top-10 ranking in the state of Arizona as a senior with 49 tackles, 16 quarterback hurries, and two sacks

- Brother, Mike, was a placekicker at Arizona State from 1999-2002…named a 2003 NFF Scholar-Athlete after his senior season…2001 semifinalist for the Lou Groza award…ranks seventh in Arizona State history in total points with 277…ranks fifth in made extra points and field goals
