• Lands top-ten rankings among California safeties by Rivals (No. 7), ESPN (No. 10) and 247Sports (No. 10)
• A three-sport student-athlete, also played basketball and ran track in high school
• Began his high school career as a wide receiver before switching to safety midway through his junior year
• Southern Section Division 2 CIF champions
• All-Mission League Defensive Team

• Son of JD Sumlin III and Latisha Sumlin
• Has four siblings: JD (Quatro), Jayda, Justin, and Aliyah
• Brother Justin played football at Utah Tech and brother JD plays football at College of the Canyons
• Enjoys reading, photography, creative writing, and researching
• Plans to study Business at Stanford
