- Played at Forest Hills Central in Grand Rapids, Michigan for head coach Tim Rogers
- Ranked as high as No. 29 in the state as a linebacker by Rivals and ranked No. 7 in the state at linebacker by Rivals
- Also played baseball and ran track in high school
- Part of the first DIII state championship in Forest Hills Central history in 2023
- Two-time First Team All-Conference in football
