2006 (JUNIOR): Started all 12 games at defensive end and topped all Cardinal defensive linemen with 45 tackles, including 25 solo efforts...had five or more tackles in five games...tied for the team lead with 5.5 TFL (-17 yds)...had a then-career-best seven tackles in the season opener at Oregon...had 2.0 TFL at Arizona State...had five solo tackles among his six total tackles vs. Washington...registered a sack at Arizona State and a half-sack against Navy.

2005 (SOPHOMORE): Finished the season with 15 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, one quarterback sack, two pass breakups and one QB hurry in four games during a season that was cut short due to injury...was used in a reserve role over the first three games of the season before working his way into the starting lineup for game four at Washington State...however, suffered a broken leg on the second to last play of the game and was forced to miss the remainder of the season...made his collegiate debut in the season-opener at Navy and finished with six tackles, a sack and a TFL...had four tackles, an assisted TFL and a pass breakup the next week vs. UC Davis...had four tackles, a TFL and a quarterback hurry prior to his injury at Washington State.

2004 (FRESHMAN): Did not see action.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: Played just one season of football at North Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Tex...was a SuperPrep All-Southwest team selection following his senior season...also earned first team All-District 12-5A marks...finished his senior campaign with 54 tackles, four sacks, three fumble recoveries and three blocked field goals...did not play football as a junior in order to focus on academics...earned all-state academic honors and was named a McDonald's Scholar Athlete as a senior...member of the National Honor Society...also played basketball for two seasons...majoring in management science and engineering.
