Football: A three-year starter ... outstanding outside linebackerand top pro prospect... helped the Cardinal to three BCS bowls, winning the 2011 Orange Bowl and 2013 Rose Bowl.

High School: Won the Arizona state 5A-1 discus title with a throw of 177-0 ... sometimes received training from two-time Olympic medalist John Godina ... had a best throw of 192-7, which came during a second-place finish at the Arcadia Invitational, placing him among the best throwers in the country ... won the Arizona Meet of Champions at 177-2.
