Jason Dragoo is a board certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine. Dragoo serves as Stanford's head team physician and is an associate professor at the Stanford Hospital and Clinics.

Dragoo performs arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the elbow, shoulder, knee and ankle. 

He has also serves as a physician for U.S. National Ski Team and U.S. Olympic Committee. 

Dragoo's research focuses on use of adult stem cells to regenerate cartilage, where he has pioneered new techniques to replace cartilage defects, and methods to accelerate tendon healing by modifying platelet rich plasma.

He attended medical school at Arizona, and served his residency at UCLA.

Dragoo, who hails from Napa, California, lives in the Bay Area with his wife, Kristin, and two sons, Jake and Will.
