John Sikora enters his fourth season on the Stanford football coaching staff in 2021 as an offensive graduate assistant.

Sikora comes to The Farm from Waynesburg University in Pennsylvania. In 2017, he served as the team’s special teams coordinator and linebackers coach. Sikora joined the Yellow Jackets staff as a graduate assistant in 2015 following four seasons as a student-athlete at Waynesburg. He worked closely with the Yellow Jacket linebackers while he earned his masters in teaching.

Sikora appeared in at least seven games in each of his four seasons as a player with the Yellow Jackets, and was a three-time honorable mention All-PAC selection at linebacker. He totaled 196 tackles over 40 games and finished in the top five in tackles as a sophomore, junior and senior. Waynesburg had a combined record of 30-13, including his sophomore campaign in 2012, where he led the team to a record of 10-1.

The Campbell, Ohio, native was a three-time CoSIDA Academic All-District selection and a two-time Academic All-American. He was a three-year member of the PAC Fall Academic Honor Roll while earning degrees in both History and Social Science-Political Science.

A graduate of Campbell Memorial High School, Sikora was a standout in both football and basketball for the Red Devils.
