• Appeared in the final nine games of the 2023 season, primarily on special teams
• Recorded his first assisted tackle vs. No. 5 Washington (Oct. 28)
• His first solo tackle came one week later at Washington State (Nov. 4)

As a Sophomore (2022)

• Made two appearances throughout the season

As a Freshman (2021)

• Stanford Scout Team Special Teams Player of the Week (Week 2, USC)
• Appeared once on special teams at Washington State (Oct. 16)

Prior to Stanford

• Played at Fort Bend Christian Academy in Sugar Land, Texas for head coach Jordan Black … also attended Clements High School and played for Bobby Darnell
• Helped 2020 squad to school’s best season as a senior, reaching the quarterfinals of the playoffs
• Posted 1,096 yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior
• 2018 Offensive Newcomer of the Year
• 2018 all-district first team
• Also competed in basketball and track and field
• 2018 Field Event Athlete of the Year in track and field
• Finished first in the 15-16 boys decathlon at the 2018 USATF Region 12 (Texas) meet, setting a meet record with score of 5,424
• Placed sixth at the 2018 USATF National Junior Olympics in 15-16 decathlon
• National Merit Commended 
• Three-time academic all-district

• Has three brothers, Michael, Paul and Andrew, and two sisters, Maria and Kathryn
• Grandfather, Richard Mize, played basketball at Oklahoma
• Aunt, Deborah Mize, played basketball at St. Edwards University
