• Went 8-of-16 for 48 yards and a touchdown, with one interception

• Made his debut in the fourth quarter against Utah (Nov. 5)
• Made his first career start at Oregon State, throwing a touchdown pass in the third quarter . . . had 51 yards passing and 31 yards rushing before exiting the game in the third quarter . . . became the first true freshman to start at quarterback for Stanford since John Paye in 1983 (Nov. 13)
