Anthony Lazard is in his second season as Assistant Director of Football Sports Performance and Applied Sport Science Coordinator at Stanford in 2024. He comes to The Farm from Auburn, where he spent the 2021 and 2022 season.
 
At Auburn, Lazard was an Assistant Director of Football Strength and Conditioning. During his two seasons he worked with the defensive line, linebackers, running backs and tight ends, and led the implementation of the Catapult tracking system.
 
Prior to his time at Auburn, Lazard spent the 2020 season at Boise State as an Assistant Director of Sports Performance for football. There he programed, implemented, compiled, and provided data analysis of training metrics for the skill position groups through all training cycles (LBs, RBs, TEs, STUDS, specialists).
 
Lazard also spent time as an Assistant Athletic Performance Coach at Appalachian State (Jan. 2019 – Jan. 2020), Assistant Strength and Nutrition Coach at Upper Iowa University (Oct. 2018 – Jan. 2019) and Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Central Methodist University (Jan. 2018 – Oct. 2018).
 
Lazard was a five-year (2012-16) member of the Iowa State football program, where he earned his degree in exercise science in May of 2016. He is NSCA-CSCS certified.
 
He is engaged to his fiancée Lindsey Hunt.
