As a Senior in 2012: Arrived at Stanford with an injured shoulder that ultimately caused him to move from outside hitter to setter, butremained patient and got his opportunity against Ohio State (Jan. 28) when when he entered in the third set for injured Evan Barry andled Stanford to a five-set comeback victory over the defending national champs on their home floor ... had 23 assists against Ohio State in his first action at setter against a Division I opponent ... played in three matches, all off the bench ... a member of the winningest senior class in Stanford history, with 86 victories.

As a Junior in 2011: Played in one match off the bench, on March 30 against UC Santa Cruz ... recorded a kill in his only attempt ... also had 15 assists and three digs in his first collegiate match at setter.

As a Sophomore in 2010: Played in two matches off the bench at outside hitter ... had two kills in two attacks, plus a dig, in a sweep of UC Santa Cruz (Feb. 24) ... has moved from outside hitter to setter for 2011.

As a Freshman in 2009: Was limited to one set of action because of injuries ... made collegiate debut against Pacific (Jan. 14) ... recorded one reception in winning effort.

International: Played for the U.S. at the 2006 under-19 world beach championships in Bermuda.

High School/Club: Regarded as one of the most complete players in the country ... slammed down match point to give Mira Costa High School of Manhattan Beach, Calif., a five-set victory over national No.1 Newport Harbor in the CIF Southern Section Division I final in 2008 ... had 14 kills and nine blocks in the match, helping Mira Costa to a No.2 national ranking by studentsportsvolleyball.com ... named to Volleyball Magazine's Fab 50 for the class of 2008 and as one of its top 25 underclassmen for 2007 ... did so despite undergoing major shoulder surgery between his junior and senior years ... first-team high school All-America, CIF Southern Section Division I co-player of the year and Bay League MVP as a senior ... won national Junior Olympic 16s title with the LBC Volleyball Club in 2005.

Personal: Son of Bruce and Juli Kordic ... has a sister, Brittani ... father was a defensive end at Penn State ... two uncles also played defensive end in college, Greg Kordic at Notre Dame and Brad Kordic at Louisville ... graduated with a degree in management science and engineering.
