2007 Season (Freshman): Scored three goals on the year ... Netted pair of goals in 17-6 win over Occidental.

High School: Captained the San Ramon Valley water polo and swimming teams in his junior and senior years ... in water polo, a two-time All-American, three-time All-CIF North Coast Section selection, and was named to the All-East Bay Athletic League team all four years ... named League MVP as a senior after scoring 98 goals with 87 steals in leading team to semifinals of CIF-NCS tournament ... national winner of Wendy's High School Heisman Award in Dec. 2006 ... 2006-07 CIF California state Scholar-Athlete of the Year ... National winner of Scholar-Athlete Milk Mustache of the Year award.

Personal: Older brother Peter also played for the Stanford's water polo team ... parents Grant and Pam met in their freshman dorm at Stanford in the 70's.
