Anna McConnell Season 2010-11

2010-11 (Freshman): Crewed six regattas ... a part of Stanford's 14^th-place performance at the National Women's Championships ... had four top-five finishes in the A Division, with four different skippers... won the PCCSC Women's alongside Eliza Richartz after winning five of their 12 races, helping propel the Cardinal to a first-place divisional finish ... came in second at the Captain Hurst Bowl on Oct. 16 with Nick Dugdale as skipper ... finished second again at the PCC Fall Dinghy Championships on Nov. 11 alongside Kevin Laube and Dugdale ... came in fourth at North #1 with Molly McKinney in February.

Prior to Stanford: At St. George's School in Newport, RI, competed in field hockey for two years, swimming for one and sailing for four seasons... team won the High School team race in 2008 and were third in 2009... they were two-time New England Champions in 2008 and 2009.

Personal: Daughter of Michael and Karen McConnell... youngest of three, has two older brothers, Ian and Adam... majoring in human biology... spent the past year traveling in Uganda and India... lists boat building as a hobby.
