Personal

  • Parents are Tom and Holly Weiss
  • Older sister, Jordan, has competed for the U.S. national team in synchronized figure skating
  • Traveled with church group to Jamaica, spending 10 days at Sunbeam Boys’ Home, working on service projects
  • Annually involved in the Relay for Life, raising money for the American Cancer Society
  • Relay for Life team captain each year since 2011 and has worked toward organizing the event in her community
  • Diagnosed with Kinesigenic Dyskinesia Dystonia, a rare movement disorder, after the right side of her body locked up during track practice
  • Overcome the condition to win three high school state championships
