  • Set a New Mexico high school record in the 300 hurdles of 44.88 in 2019, her junior year at Sandia Prep
  • Won the 2019 New Mexico 3A championship in the 300 hurdles (45.17) and was second in the 100 hurdles
  • Double state 4A champion in 2018, in the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles 

Personal

  • A 2024 graduate of Columbia University with a degree in neuroscience and behavior, and a concentration in Hispanic studies. 
  • At Columbia, conducted research at the Zuckerman Research Institute, focusing on lung cancer determinants and the neurobiology of energy balance
  • Served as a student teacher in Harlem, implementing educational programs for underrepresented students and witnessed how social determinants shape health and opportunity
  • An older brother, Bronson Duran, competed for Stanford in track and field from 2010-12.
