- Versatile athlete made his biggest mark in the javelin, with the No. 9 throw in Stanford history and No. 4 all-time among Stanford freshmen, at 197-6.
- The throw came in a runner-up finish at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational (April 27).
- Placed 14th at the Pac-12 Championships in the javelin (193-6).
- Competed in the javelin and long jump five times each, and the 200 and 4x100 once each.
- Long jump season best was a wind-aided 23-0 and a legal 22-5 3/4, both in winning the Payton Jordan Invitational.
- Third in the Big Meet in the javelin (183-2) and fifth in the long jump (22-4 1/4).
Indoors
- Competed in two meets, the Don Kirby Invitational and the Cherry & Silver in Albuquerque.
- Long-jumped 21-7 1/4 and ran 7.29 for 60 meters at the Don Kirby meet.
High School:
- Was the 2011 USATF Junior Olympic bronze medalist in the decathlon with a score of 6,481 points.
- Placed 17th at the 2012 USATF Junior Outdoor Championships in the decathlon with 6,231.
- The 2012 Mid-Atlantic Prep League champion in the long jump (21-4), javelin (186-9), and 400 hurdles (56.66) for The Lawrenceville (N.J.) School.
