- Father, Pat Manson, was a two-time U.S. top-ranked vaulter and three-time Pan Am Games gold medalist

- Sister, Mia, is a pole vaulter at Michigan and a champion climber
- Max is a champion climber, summiting all 53 of Colorado's 14,000-foot peaks by age 12
