Lauren Greif begins her fifth season with the Stanford women's basketball program and fourth year as Special Assistant/Video Coordinator in 2014-15. Greif spent the 2010-11 season with the team as an intern. Her duties include managing the program's video editing and film exchange as well as assisting with recruiting and social media strategies.

A native of Portland, Ore., Greif was a four-year letterwinner as a member of California's women's basketball team from 2006-2010. During her time in Berkeley, she co-captained the Golden Bears for three years and helped lead the team to three NCAA Tournament appearances, including the program's first-ever Sweet Sixteen berth in 2009. In 2009-10, Greif co-captained the Golden Bears to the 2010 WNIT Championship. She ranks third all-time in career 3-pointers made (137) and ninth all-time with a career 3-point percentage of 33.7. Greif thrice earned Pac-10 All-Academic honors, including being named to the First Team following her junior and senior years.

Greif received her B.A. in psychology from the University of California at Berkeley in 2010. She is pursuing a career in coaching and has entered a Masters program in kinesiology at San Jose State University with a concentration in sports psychology.
