- Worked on a study to address growing concerns over concussions in sports through research and data collection
- Project involved mouthguards developed by engineers at Stanford with the ability to track impact, force, etc. in collisions between high school football players
- National Honor Society member with a 3.9 GPA
- Selected by Centerville High School faculty to give a commencement speech titled "How tough are you"
- Volunteered at 4-Paws for Ability, an organization which trains dogs for autistic children
- Also volunteered at Hannah's Treasure Chest, putting together packages of clothes and toys for children in need
