Beth Mounier joined the Stanford women’s basketball program as an intern in the summer of 2018.

A native of Woodland Hills, Calif., Mounier began her college basketball career at Weber State in 2013-14 before transferring to play under Tara VanDerveer's sister Heidi at UC San Diego for her final three seasons. The 5-foot-9 guard appeared in 87 games and started 61 for the Tritons, averaging 10.2 points and 3.5 rebounds.

As a senior in 2016-17, she was named to the All-CCAA first team after putting up career highs in points (12.8), rebounds (4.4) and assists (2.8). Mounier was an all-conference second teamer the year prior and was a three-time CCAA all-academic selection.

In addition to her on-court exploits, Mounier served as a public relations intern (2016) and later social media coordinator (2017) with Kirvin Doak Communications in the Las Vegas area. She was also a fellow with the Global Food Initiative at UCSD during her senior year, developing social campaigns to transfer the university's sustainability and food security research, outreach and operations into more easily consumable information for the broader public.
