- Desert Vista was also invited to and made a run to the semifinals at the State Champions Invitational Tournament at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., which features teams that win their respective state championships

- Volunteered locally on behalf of Feed My Starving children, Paz de Cristo and Action Rebuild Liberia
- Devoted parishioner of her 29:11 Church community and assisted with children’s day care on Sundays
- Was co-president of her school’s Christian Youth Alive club and treasurer of the Heart to Heart club
- Also donated her time to the Night to Shine prom for special needs students
