Amy Arnes is in her first season as an intern with the Stanford women's basketball program in 2025-26.

A native of Sunnyvale, Arnes is a 2020 graduate of Archbishop Mitty High School, where she of both the basketball and track & field teams. She earned her associate's degree from De Anza College in 2022, graduating magna cum laude, and transferred to UCLA, where she also gradauated magna cum laude with her bachelor's in political science and a minor in environmental systems and society.

While in Westwood, Arnes served as a student manager with the women's basketball program in 2024-25 and was also a member of the UCLA Powerlifting Team. She earned her master's in transformative coaching and leadership from UCLA in 2025.

Arnes has worked Stanford basketball camp each of the past two summers and also has coaching experience, working with the throwers for Homestead High School's track & field team in 2021 and 2022.
