2011 Season (Senior): Stanford team captain ... selected as the team's Gymnast of the Year ... All-Pac-10 first team in the all-around ... a Pac-10 All-Academic second team selection ... earned her second NACGC/Women Scholastic All-America honor ... scored team season-high score on balance beam (9.925) to help Stanford to a 196.200-194.825 victory over defending NCAA champion UCLA ... her performance in the anchor position allowed Stanford to overtake the Bruins on the final rotation ... she also tied her career-best (9.925) on her winning beam routine and captured the all-around (39.350) ... the performance earned Alexander Pac-10 Gymnast of the Week honors (Sept. 25) ... placed first nine times, including three first-place finishes each on the vault, beam and all-around ... posted three of the team's six highest all-around scores in just the first six meets ... placed first in the all-around against UCLA on Jan. 23, while also setting a career best and winning the beam (9.925) with Stanford's highest event score of the season ... it was also one of her three multi-victory performances ... posted her best all-around score (39.400) against Michigan and Nebraska on Feb. 13 while taking first in the beam (9.900) ... scored 9.900 on the vault on two occasions (Jan. 28 and Feb. 13), tied for second on the team ... had a meet-high 39.375 score in the all-around at the Chicago Style on Feb. 11, key to Stanford's .125-point victory - the closest of the season ... won the all-around (39.150) again a week later against Arizona, also earning an individual victory in the vault (9.850) ... competed all-around in 10 of 11 competitions, missing the bars and beam on Feb. 5 against San Jose State.

2010 Season (Junior): Will serve as team co-captain for second consecutive year, in 2011 ... shined in all four events in 2010, but especially in the vault ... won the vault (9.95) and balance beam (9.90) at the 2010 NCAA Southeast Regional in Morgantown, W.Va. ... it was the first multi-victory performance of her collegiate career ... her 9.95 vault in the regional was her collegiate career high in any event ... it also tied Carly Janiga for Stanford's season best vault score ... had six of the team's eight highest vault scores in 2010 ... joined Ashley Morgan as Stanford's highest beam scorers (9.875 each) at the NCAA Super Six ... scored career best of 9.90 on floor while fifth in the lineup during Stanford's 49.575 against UCLA on Jan. 24 for the Cardinal's highest event score of the season ... scored a career-high 9.925 to win the beam against San Jose State and Cal (March 5) ... earned seven individual victories - five on vault, two on beam ... scored a career best of 9.85 on the bars at a home quad meet (Feb. 7) ... competed in all four events to help Cardinal to fourth place at the NCAA Super Six in Gainesville, Fla. ... competed all-around in 10 of 14 competitions, scoring career-high 39.500 at NCAA Southeast Regional, placing third ... Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention ... named to the Scholastic All-America team by the National Association of Collegiate Coaches/Women.

2009 Season (Sophomore): After competing exclusively in vault as a freshman, Alexander emerged in several events, including all-around ... missed first-team All-America honors in the vault by one place, scoring 9.875 in Session I at the NCAA team preliminaries ... named first team All-Pac-10 on vault and floor ... tied for second in vault in Pac-10 Championships with 9.925 ... set career bests in all three events at the Pac-10 meet ... earned first collegiate victory by capturing the all-around in a career best 39.400 at Cal (2/22) ... tied Alyssa Brown for first in the vault the following week at UC Davis (9.85) ... honorable mention Pac-10 All-Academic team ... winner of Stanford's Most Improved award.

2008 Season (Freshman): A starter on vault, Alexander posted a season best of 9.85 at the NCAA Central Regional to help the Cardinal to a 49.525, its best team score of the season in any event ... twice scored 9.825 in the vault, against Georgia and UC Davis ... competed in vault in 11 of team's 12 meets through the regionals. Club/High School: Was valedictorian of the class of 2007 at Seguin High School in Seguin, Texas ... competed for USA Aerial Athletics of San Antonio, Texas, where she was coached by Heather Schnelzer and Mike Hunsucker ... In 2007, was Region III Level-10 vault champ, and captured Texas state titles in vault, beam and all-around.

Personal: Daughter of Jud and Jody Alexander ... has a sister, Whitney, and brother, Jud III ... majoring in science, technology and society ... won the Grand Prize award for physics from the Alamo Regional Junior Academy of Science in San Antonio ... enjoys snow skiing, water skiing and wakeboarding.
