2011 Season (Redshirt Senior): Team captain and winner of the team's Most Inspirational Award ... named to the Pac-10 All-Academic second team ... part of Stanford's class of 2010 that reached the NCAA Super Six an unprecedented three times ... named Pac-10 Gymnast of the Week (Feb. 1) after winning the uneven bars and balance beam with 9.90 scores on the way to capturing the all-around victory in Stanford's 196.825-196.500 triumph over Utah ... her all-around score of 39.475 was a collegiate career high, and her beam mark (9.900) tied her all-time best ... made the most of her fifth year of eligibility, winning seven events despite limited action due to late-season injury ... set or tied career bests in all four events and the all-around ... got off to a very good start, setting a team-high 9.925 in the bars in the Pac-10 Showcase (Jan. 9) ... followed up the strong showing with two straight individual victories in the bars, against UCLA on Jan. 23 (9.850) and Utah ... notched her fourth victory of the season in the bars (9.850) on Feb. 18 at Arizona ... sprained her ankle during her floor routine at the meet, missing two meets completely and was limited to two events each at the Pac-10 Championships and NCAA Regionals.

2010 Season (Redshirt Junior): Was granted a fifth year of eligibility in 2011 because of medical issues that caused her to miss the 2007 season ... established herself as a regular in all four events, and competed in the all-around in eight of the final nine meets ... scored collegiate career highs in every event in 2010 ... earned Stanford's top non-Carly Janiga scores on the bars (9.925) and beam (9.90) ... competed on the floor for first time in collegiate career, using her own choreography that featured her modern dance moves ... only remaining member of the Stanford class of 2010 that reached the NCAA Super Six an unprecedented three times ... named to the All-Pac-10 second team on bars ... tied for fifth in Pac-10 on vault (9.85) and tied for ninth on bars (9.80) ... a day after struggling during team preliminaries because of an illness, Ishino scored career bests of 9.90 on the vault, 9.925 on bars, and 39.425 all-around at the NCAA Super Six to lead Stanford to its best score of the season (197.100) and a fourth-place finish ... scored 9.80 or above in all four events that day ... won five times during the season, including four on bars ... had a bars-beam double victory in home quad meet (Feb. 28).

2009 Season (Redshirt Sophomore): Proved to be one of the team's most dependable performers in her first full collegiate season ... tied for first in the uneven bars at the NCAA South Central Regionals with Michigan's Becky Bernard, scoring a 9.9 ... tied for second on beam at the Pac-10 Championships (3/21) with a 9.9 ... scored at least 9.8 on the bars nine times ... has collegiate career bests of 9.9 in three events.

2008 Season (Redshirt Freshman): One of Stanford's most versatile performers in her first season of collegiate competition ... season ended when she tore the anterior cruciate ligament in her knee as she landed a Yurchenko full on the vault at the Pac-10 championships ... until then, she had been a regular on the vault (9.9 vs. Georgia), bars (three 9.9's) and beam (9.875 at Iowa State) ... scored 9.825 or above in all 10 of her bars routines.

2007 Season (Freshman): Sat out the entire season after being diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism in November, 2006.

Club/High School: A 2004 U.S. Olympic team alternate ... placed fifth in all-around at the Olympic trials ... U.S. national team member for four years ... won the all-around, was second on floor, and fourth on bars and beam at the 2004 Pacific Alliance Games ... fourth in the all-around at the 2003 Pan-American Games ... a 2006 graduate of Foothill High School in Santa Ana, Calif. ... trained at Charter Oak Gymnastics in Covina, Calif., under Steve and Beth Rybacki, and then at Wildfire Gymnastics in Tustin, Calif., under Bill Callander.

Personal: Daughter of Glenn and Arlene Ishino ... brother Glen competes at University of California and is a member of the U.S. senior national gymnastics team ... older sister Genine competed for Cal ... older brother Gian wrestled for Wesleyan University ... human biology major ... a member of DV8, a hip-hop dance group at Stanford ... spent part of 2009 summer with teammate Tenaya West in Nepal, doing volunteer work at a children's hospital ... hobbies include dancing, snowboarding, and rollerblading at the beach.
