Ashlynn Goerz Season 2014

As a Junior in 2016:

• Named to the IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll 
• Played in six games for the Cardinal
• Collected two ground balls

As a Sophomore in 2015:

• Made five appearances, all off the bench.
• Had groundballs against San Diego State and UC Davis.
• Caused a turnover against Colorado in the MPSF tournament.

As a Freshman in 2014:

• Appeared in nine games off the bench.
• Made collegiate debut vs. Fresno State on March 5, picking up a ground ball.
• Earned two draw controls late to help Stanford beat No. 6 Notre Dame, 11-10.

High School:

• A 2013 graduate of Monte Vista High School in Danville, Calif.
• 2012 Under Armour Underclassman All-America West team member.
• Two-time Contra Costa Times first team All-East Bay selection (2012, 2013).
• Captained her team and earned first team All-East Bay Athletic League honors in 2013, and was a second-team selection in 2011 and 2012.
• Earned team Most Valuable Player honors in 2013 and named team Offensive Player of the Year in 2012.
• Competed for NorCal Team 1 at the 2011 Women’s Division National Tournament.
• Two-time Academic All-American (2012, 2013).
• Won the North Coast Section and EBAL championships in 2010.
• Played four years of varsity soccer and was named the team Offensive Player of the Year in 2013 after leading her team in scoring.
• Won the NCS Championship in 2012 and was a finalist in 2013.
• Received the soccer program “OX” Award in 2013 for academic, individual and team success.
• Played club lacrosse for BearLax Blue.

Personal:

• Majoring in management science and engineering.
• Daughter of David and Kristin Goerz.
• Sister Lauren played lacrosse at Virginia.
• Dad played lacrosse and competed for the crew team at UCLA.
