Personal

  • Daughter of Marlen McKinney and John Bellaschi
  • Has a sister, Katie, and a brother, J.J.
  • Grandfather, Frank McKinney, won three Olympic swimming medals and held six world records. Was a gold medalist in the 400-meter medley relay in 1960. Co-founder of International Swimming Hall of Fame (1965) and inducted in 1975.
  • Aunt, Katherine McKinney, was a member of the Stanford swimming (1984-85) and water polo teams (1986-88)
  • Uncle, Bob McKinney, played football at Louisville and was member of U.S. National Handball team (1995-96)
  • Co-leader of Good Samaritan Community Service Club
