Why Maddy Chose Stanford
“I chose Stanford for the diversity of mind, body, and spirit provided by the student body. I believe that a diversity of opinions, backgrounds, and experiences in people helps us improve and strengthen every aspect of ourselves and is a key factor in the future success of this country and the world. I chose Stanford rowing because the prestige the team had already earned assured me I would be pushed to my very limits, and be forced to surpass even my own expectations.”
