- Second for Germany at the 2017 and 2018 Junior World Championships in Trakai, Lithuania, and Racice, Czech Republic, respectively.

- Parents are Andreas and Antje Bachmann
- Has two siblings, Luise and Ida
- Grandfather Jurgen Bachmann was an Olympic swimmer for East Germany
- Grandfather Bjorn Gehrmann was the national rowing coach for Germany
- Sister, Luise, also rows for the Cardinal
