  • Daughter of Dena and Marlon Evans
  • Fifth generation Stanford student-athlete
  • Father played football and competed in track & field at Stanford, playing in three bowl games and finishing seventh in the national FBS in kick off return average (27.9 yards per return) in 1995 ... competed in the sprints during the 1997 track season, and won the 1997 Donald Kennedy Award by the Stanford Athletics Board
  • Mother played soccer and competed in track & field at Stanford ... three time All-American in the middle distances, she also scored 20 goals and had 20 assists over her career and was a member of the first Stanford College Cup team in 1993 ... later, as a member of the track & field and cross country coaching staff at Stanford (Assistant Cross Country / T&F Coach 1999-2003, Head Women’s Cross Country Coach/ Assistant T&F Coach 2003-05) she was named 2003 NCAA Women’s Cross Country Coach of the year as Stanford won the title, and was subsequently 2004 NCAA Assistant Coach of the Year for Women’s Distance
  • Great-grandfather, Ben Dey, is a member of the Stanford Hall of Fame and won the 1936 NCAA doubles title in tennis
  • Has one sister, Adrienne, who plays soccer at Penn
