  • A 2014 graduate of Del Norte High School, Carusa played club ball with the San Diego Surf
  • Was a prolific scorer for San Diego’s Del Norte High, with 58 goals and 50 assists in three varsity seasons
  • In the Nighthawks’ second varsity season, scored 26 goals and had 34 assists to lead them to the 2012 Valley League title and into the CIF-San Diego Section Division III final
  • Broke her femur that spring, but rebounded with a 22-goal season for Del Norte and was a team captain for her San Diego Surf club team for four years
