- Daughter of Kristin and Stephen Smith
- Father played soccer at Duke where he was an Academic All-American and garnered Duke's Rookie of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year
- Mother rowed at Stanford before becoming Iron Man 70.3 age-group World Champion
- Has two siblings, Logan and Tucker
- Sister, Logan, also plays soccer at Stanford
