  • A blue chip prospect, rated as high as the No. 2 recruit in the country per Tennis Recruiting Network (June 24, 2025)
  • One of nine American women to receive a wild card into the 2025 US Open Qualifying tournament
  • Reached the final of the W100 event in Cary, N.C. in July 2025 as a qualifier
  • Won her first professional singles title at the W35 event in Jackson, Miss. in April 2025
  • Picked up another pro title at the W35 event in Boca Raton, Fla. in May 2025
  • Played singles at both Roland Garros Juniors and US Open Juniors in 2024

Personal

  • Daughter of Christine and Rikard Ekstrand
    • Mother played tennis at Texas and father played at Lamar
  • One of seven siblings, has older sisters Erica and Sophia, older brothers Alexander and Markus, a twin sister Viktoria, and a younger brother Karl
    • Viktoria is a freshmen rower for Harvard
    • Erica was the 2021 NCAA DIII Singles champion at Williams
    • Alexander and Markus are currently on the tennis team at the University of Chicago
      • Alexander transferred from Purdue and Markus from Miami
  • Speaks German and Swedish
  • Chapter leader for Kids Serving Kids, a non-profit organization that collects tennis equipment and donates to charity
