Matt Hoffman enters his third season as Stanford's volunteer assistant coach.
Hoffman brings 11 years of coaching experience to The Farm. Most recently he served as a coach at Homestead High School, where he guided the Mustangs to the 2007 and 2008 CCS Championships. Additionally, the 2008 squad was the NorCal Champions and finished runner-up at the CIF State Championships. Hoffman also has club coaching experience with Vision Volleyball Club.
Hoffman is a graduate of San Jose State University, where he earned his bachelor's in kinesiology in 2004. He is currently a physical education teacher at Homestead High School in Cupertino, Calif. He and his wife, Noel, reside in San Jose with their daughter, McKenna and son, Owen.
